Tiong Bahru Plaza

If you are looking for a good shopping mall in Singapore, you must check out Tiong Bahru Plaza. This shopping complex is located in the Tiong Bahru Estate, and is surrounded by the popular neighborhoods of Tiong Bahru Road, Jalan Membina, and Bukit Ho Swee Crescent. The mall was renovated in 2015, and has a wide variety of tenants.

Tiong Bahru Plaza is located in the Tiong Bahru estate

Located in Bukit Merah, Tiong Bahru Plaza is a shopping centre near Jalan Membina and the Tiong Hahru Road. You can find all kinds of shops here, from a variety of categories, such as fashion, food, and electronics. It is also very convenient for those looking to shop for a large variety of products in one location.

With over 165 stores, the Tiong Bahru Plaza is one of the most popular shopping malls in the district. The mall recently underwent a major makeover, adding new retail concepts throughout. Aside from the usual shopping centres, the Tiong Bahru Plaza also features a movie hall and an outdoor plaza for events. There are also several restaurants and banks in the plaza, as well as a number of money changers.

It is one of the oldest shopping malls in Singapore

For many people, Tiong Bahru Plaza is an old estate for the elderly. However, this mall has attracted the younger crowds as well. In fact, this mall has been around since 1994, so you can be sure that the crowds and “happening” vibes are not only for the elderly. The new communal areas in the mall have more than 165 shops, as well as restaurants, banks, and money changers.

The mall’s recent makeover has included the conversion of basement parking levels into retail space. New stores have been added to the third floor, and a public square has been created for entertainment and promotional events. While this may seem like a small change, Tiong Bahru Plaza is a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike. In fact, Tiong Bahru Plaza is ranked the number one shopping mall in Singapore.

It has a diverse range of tenants

The Tiong Bahru Plaza is one of Singapore’s largest shopping malls, with over 100 different retail stores and a cinema hall. The mall was redesigned recently, and is a popular spot for residents, business executives, and students of nearby schools. In addition to its many anchor tenants, Tiong Bahru Plaza is home to the famous Tiong Bahru Wet Market, which features more than a hundred stalls selling traditional wares.

Other tenants include Dolce Tokyo by MOF, Tea Valley, Old Street Bak Kut Teh, Ajisen Ramen, and more. The plaza also features new communal areas. The mall also has several retail spaces that are suitable for private functions and events. Located near the Tiong Bahru MRT Station, the building offers easy access to the city center.

It was renovated in 2015

Located in the Bukit Merah estate, Tiong Bahru Plaza is a shopping mall in Singapore. This mall is easily accessible from Tiong Bahru Road, Jalan Membina, Bukit Ho Swee Crescent, and the nearby Tiong Bahru Estate. It was built in 1980 and is home to a wide range of department stores, cafes, and restaurants.

Initially, the mall was a ten-storey building with over 100 shops and basic amenities. It included a cinema, department store, food court, and supermarket. The mall was later sold to ARMF Pte Ltd., which refurbished it and added a basement carpark. A direct passageway between the mall and Central Plaza connected the two buildings. In the years following the renovation, Tiong Bahru Plaza has received several refurbishments and additions.

It reopened in March 2016

A total renovation of $90 million was conducted in 2015, and the Tiong Bahru Plaza re-opened in March 2016. The project included the addition of 25,000 square feet of new retail space, a basement carpark, a food court, and a cinema. Despite its popularity, the Tiong Bahru Plaza did experience significant downtime during the renovation. Thankfully, the mall re-opened in March 2016 with a refreshed look and feel.

The mall features a wide variety of shops and restaurants, including the recently-opened NTUC supermarket and the Golden Village movie theatre. It also features several restaurants, including Prata Wala and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. There are also several POSB and UOB bank branches, as well as Long John Silver’s. The mall also has several beauty stores and outlets, including Bodyshop and Faceshop. In addition, a restaurant called Mei Zhen xiang caters to the discerning bak kwa enthusiast.
