Bukit Panjang Plaza

You’ll find a host of amenities and restaurants at Bukit Panjang Plaza, from the public library to the Hillion mall. You’ll also find a LRT station at Jalan Kong Kuan, and a variety of recreational facilities. But what makes Bukit Panjang so unique? The answer to that question lies in the mall’s modern design. The complex features a glass roof and many shops.

Hillion Mall

If you’re in the market for a shopping mall, you’ll want to check out the Hillion Mall, Bukit Panjang. This mixed-use development is the first of its kind in the West. If you’re a shopping fanatic, you can take a look at the mall’s impressive selection of brands. You can also take a look at the new Hillion Residences, which are fully integrated residential buildings.

The Hillion Shopping Mall is located in a prime location near a large transport hub, making it a convenient location to visit during your stay in the Central West region of Singapore. You can get to the mall via the nearby Bukit Panjang MRT station or Bukit Panjang LRT station. The mall is also close to Bukit Panjang Plaza and Junction 10.

Bukit Panjang LRT station

Located at the intersection of Petir Road and Upper Bukit Timah Road, Bukit Panjang Plaza LRT station is an interchange station for the MRT/LRT system. The Bukit Panjang MRT station serves the Bukit Panjang / Choa Chu Kang region. It serves both the North-South Line and Circle Line. It is also an excellent location for catching buses and taxis.

Bukit Panjang LRT station is overground, with two side platforms. Generally, the station is extremely busy, with buses and HDBs in every direction. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the convenience of LRT transportation in the area. The station is convenient for a quick trip to various parts of the city, with live arrival and departure updates. A SMRT e-ticket costs approximately $0.45 and takes about 45 minutes.

Community centre at Jalan Kong Kuan

Bukit Panjang, once separated from the city by ten miles, has transformed into much more. In fact, this image is an anachronism, and residents from the 1950s would probably remember a much different town. A verdant mix of can-do spirit and mutual help characterised the town, which was often isolated and self-sufficient, despite its central location.

The Bukit Panjang community has long been a centre for charity and camaraderie. A community centre, or “chai kuan”, is often a place where community activities and events are organized for local goodwill. Jalan Kong Kuan is one such community centre, and the Sin Wah Theatre is nearby. It regularly screens shows and other events for fund-raising purposes.

Recreational facilities in Bukit Panjang Plaza

Recreational facilities in Bukit Panjang Plaza are a must for those who live in the area. Located within a thriving community, this district features shopping malls, public parks, community centres, libraries, and more. Residents can enjoy the relaxed and friendly environment of the Bukit Panjang area while enjoying the convenience of its proximity to the city’s best amenities. The Bukit Panjang area was formerly known as Zhenghua, a Chinese village in the northwestern part of Singapore.

The sports facilities located in Bukit Panjang include a tennis court and a basketball court. If you’re into other sports, there’s also a football pitch, basketball court, and taekwondo. Bukit Panjang’s community clubs plan regular activities and competitions for residents of all ages. Recreational facilities in Bukit Panjang are accessible via public transport and are within walking distance of the community’s homes.
