Downtown East is an architectural enclave in central Washington
The commercial core of Downtown East extends north from Pennsylvania Avenue, the southern boundary. It also contains some of the city’s most historic buildings. Downtown East is a multi-faceted entertainment complex in Pasir Ris, Singapore. It was first planned as a country club for workers, and it is modelled after popular Butlins holiday camps in the United Kingdom. Since its opening in 1988, it has expanded to include a water park, chalets, and various recreational facilities. Since then, the theme park has been smoke-free and offers free Wi-Fi access.
